Dr. Anthony's research interests involve the application of modern synthetic organic methods to problems in materials science, with a strong focus on materials for organic electronics. The methods we develop to synthesize specifically-functionalized aromatic materials are used to prepare new compounds for use in numerous electronic applications (in display technology, sensing, solar cell and communications fields), as well as in the construction of high-strength composites.

John’s 15 years of financial and management experience span several vertical industries, including healthcare, biotechnology, and entertainment. John served as CFO at Aurora Health Care. Aurora is a $1.6 billion health care company located in Milwaukee, WI. He later served as Vice President of Operations for SpectraCare, where he managed 1,200 employees. John began his career at KPMG as a CPA.

After 15 years of corporate work, John felt there was more to life than managing established businesses owned by others.  Starting with a consulting practice, John has worked in several industries including the film industry (feature films), venture capital management and bio-technology business development.  Outrider is John's first entry into the semi-conductor industry.  "This is the most exciting chapter in my business career and John Anthony is a great scientist.  Its exciting to participate in this leading edge industry."  John resides in Louisville, Kentucky.
